cca and final payment

Just a bit of advice needed, hopefully I will have 4k to pay off my debts next year, is it still worth a shot writing to my creditors about cca agreements? Unenforceable debt angle? I know a case was chucked out by court, just thinking of the best way to get a low final payment, I've checked Google and all the threads seem to be a few years old, just looking for advice so I can start looking forward.
