  • I love the Body Shop's Vitamin E Night cream - I think it works wonders for me, but I'm not so keen on the day cream. Any Nivea cream works well too, I think, but I really don't rate No 7. I've never found the more expensive creams to be any better than the cheaper ones, to be honest.

What brands you go for are your choice but if I had skin I felt was 'tierd' I'd look for ingredience such as Centella, aloe, vitamin E and if your skin feels damaged, coconut. Rose can be good fir very dry skin as can most nut oils but some can be too heavy for skin if your new to it or are at risk of overloading your skin because its too weak (tierd!) to deal with its own upkeep, pores can get clogged so maybe test a little of whatever you try a little just by your ear of below your jawline where reactions aren't as bad.

Someone suggested to me the inside of your wrist as a good area to pretest but for me this doesn't seem to work as a good facial skin comparison- (my wrists never flared up like my face does when I use rose oil!- I have fickle skin btw, rose oil is suoposidly good for dry types and non irritating...unless your me!)

I can also recommend a steam facial and
  • If your off to the Bodyshop anyway I would suggest this

I have never been a huge fan of the Bodyshop stuff, not since I wore dewberry oil anyway!

I noticed this on my sisters dressing table last time I was home (ok ....I was rumaging to see what she had anything new / different I could try!) it smells lovely really perks you up and gives you a nice dewy glow and you skin feels like silk.

I wish I would take my own advice!
