Want to buy a suit for 10 year old but none fit!

Hi,

I'm getting a bit desperate, I need to buy a suit for my 10 year old in time for Thursday. Bought suit number 1 well in advance (Rocha) from Debenhams but when he tried it on the other day trousers were to tight because he must of put weight on over the summer holidays and because it was linen it all had to go back. Always found Debenhams kids clothes come up small so ordered from Next trousers and jacket in a size 11 and that came yesterday, trousers again to tight on the legs. Re ordered thinking they would fit around waist and could take them up in an age 12 and it came today, yep to tight again. Ok so he has a bit of puppy fat but you wouldn't know this to look at him clothed. I know BHS do a 'generous fit' line but they have limited stuff, does anyone have any suggestions on where to look?

When you go to the Next website and search for what you want, look to the left and find 'plus fit' in the options, these are made bigger in the waist and the usual size in the leg - it is not widely advetised. I can totally understand where you are coming from with this, my DD is the same, she is more crafty and loves writing and reading so while she does physical activity, it is not enough to tone her fully. She is not super slim like most girls seem to be, I even checked her on her red book scale as I was worried but she is not overweight she is on the 50th mark, the same as when she was a baby, she just has no tone. It makes buying a clothes a nightmare.

A lot of kids get puppy fat at around this age and then suddenly shoot up so nothing fits again!!
