I just saw these http://www.selfridges.com/en/Beauty/Categories/NEW-IN/Velvet-Eyes-Backstage-Eyeliners-To-Wear-Adhesive-Eyeliner-Patches_359-84011246-F092609000/ online, I've never heard of anything like this before and it seems like a good idea to me, has anyone tried these? is there a cheaper alternative? what does everyone think?
Thank you for this site Martin

How much?
OMG, that is expensive. I haven't seen anything else like it though, could you not get the same effect with a liquid eyeliner or one of those 24 hour waterproof felt pens and a steady hand?
It doesn't even say whether they are re-usable.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
A VERY steady hand!!!LOL
It says the Kit contains:-
"Adhesive, four eyeliner–patches"
so ,yes, they MUST be re-usable....but at 47 quid  , I'd expect them to last for a VERY LONG time!!!!

I know:eek: the price is horrendous, they are new out so I'm expecting them to filter through to the high street fairly soon, they are reusable but out of the few reviews I found a lot of them said the corners peel up, I can get this look with eyeliner if I'm having a good make up day but, and its a huge but, I have hooded/aging eyes and oily skin so eyeliner, whatever type including the 24 hour pen either smudges from my lash line to my upper lid or just fades and goes patchy, I've also tried sealers but they used to work and now don't, no idea why, so stick on sounds a good idea for someone with my issues but I'm not paying that much:rotfl:Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -

Have you tried urban decay primer? I swear by the stuff, my makeup would stay for days if i have that on my eye first

I absolutely love these!! But sheesh - too much dosh.
I'm 46 1/2 (:D) so have the issues as you. I find the very best eyeliner I've used - and I've used them all! - is Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner Set. you get one Black and one Sepia Ink (brown) and they last for absolutely ages. Months and months.
I usually get it duty free on the plane £28.

Yes, mine are going the same way
Wouldn't the stick-on's crease as the creasy bits though? They should have used someone with a more lived in eye for the ad so we could see what they would really look like if you're not 20 :rotfl:
They'll probably have them in Claire's by ChristmasAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I'm sure you can get versions of these - I've seen them somewhere, it might be in Japan but you could probably get them shipped.
I'd rather do my liner the normal way than pay £50 for these....0 -
MsBlonde, primers don't work for me on the eye area, unfortunately they make no difference at all, I have tried the UD one but no good I'm afraid - thanks though:)
FagAshLil, these didn't work for me either I had severe smudging on the upper lid after a couple of hours:( they didn't flake though which was something, thanks for the suggestion.
Peachyprice, I was thinking that too, hmmm time will tell, also I was wondering as each eye shape is different you would probably have to customise, I wouldn't mind having a go on something cheaper but imagine if you did it wrong with these:eek:, not happy. I'll wait until they are in Claires etc, I also have a couple of sites I use for hair extensions and eyelashes, I bet they'll be selling similar soon too.
**Juice**, I would do it the normal way if it worked, if you see the ones your thinking of please post them up for us:)
