  • Over what period do you want to repay this money? No chance of an interest free loan from your parents, or maybe apply for an M&S morethan card which has 12months interest free credit period on all purchases!! worth considering

Worth applying to someone who has no early repayment penalties and trying to borrow £5,000 maybe. The best rates are often reserved for loans above this amount.

You could then immediately repay £2,000.

Have a look at someone like Egg maybe. Could one of your parents take out the loan maybe and you pay them back - depends how old you are but some providers are nervous about young loan applicants.

    Good luck.
