Help with mortgage lenders that are good at giving consent to let?

Hi all, thanks for your help in advance.

I have my offer on a property accepted so need to apply for a mortgage now. Colleagues at work tend to do an overseas assignment sometime down the line and I also likely need to do one sometime down the line (likely in 2013). Obviously I might switch employer before then and I would no longer need to work overseas. But just to be on the safe side, I'm looking for a lender who's generally good at giving consent to lend.

Could someone recommend a lender?

Thanks

A lender won't consider an application for CTL until the property has been owned for at least 6 months.
  • Thanks. My original post wasn't what I intended. I'm going to live in my flat for a couple of years and then do an overseas assignment. I've made it clear to my employer that I won't workseas next year as I'm buying a property.

Consent to let isn't an issue for mainstream lenders on the grounds you've given.
