Is It True That Coca Cola makes jewellery look like a shiny new penny?

Is this true? I don't know how eager I am to dip diamonds in cola when I know what it does to human teeth and tummies, any ideas anyone?
I got food in my belly and a license for my telly
And nothing's going to bring me down
And nothing's going to bring me down

If it makes everything grow like it does my tummy, I think it's a *diamond* idea0 -
Yes, it is true but I am not sure it would be safe for the setting of a stone.0

I use neat Vodka to clean mine! As these days we don't drink much of the hard stuff ( prefer wine) I decanted about 300 mls into an old jar and I put my diamond and gold chain bracelet etc. inside a bit of netting ( in order to fish it out after!) let it sit for 20 mins then wipe with a clean dry cloth, trust me you will be shocked at the black gunk that comes off your watches and chains! ~yuck!
I must point out that my watch is waterproof so ok to bathe in this manner lol!
If your watch isn't, you can still use neat vodka on a cloth to clean it and it will still come up lovely and shiny;

Try a piece of kitchen foil in a plastic or glass bowl (non-metallic). Add some soda crystals and some hot water and add your jewelery - it comes up sparkling!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
