Sahred Ownership Remortgage

Hi, can anybody tell me which of the shared ownership lenders for remortgage will lend for the purpose of consolidation of debt plus home improvement as I know not all of them will. It would be for 60% LTV of my share of the property, trying to do the right thing and sort myself out finacially & is proving difficult, current mortgage provider will only loan more (further advance) to purchase more shares in property been with them 14yrs & never missed a payemnt.

    Hi and welcome,

Lenders in general do not lend for debt consolidation.

Suggest you post on the Debt Free Wannabe board where you'll get advice and support to tackle your issues.

Taking out a consolidation loan secured on your house is exactly the wrong way to go about this. As above, post on the DFW board and address the underlying overspending problem.
