Tuesday 13th Sept - What small DFW things will you be doing?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Goooood morning everyone - hope it's a happy Tuesday for you:T
I didn't want to get up this morning...I have a dentist appointment at lunchtime as a filling fell out recently, closely followed by the rest of the tooth:eek: I have a tiddly bit of tooth left and a gaping hole:( Luckily it's at the very back so no-one can see and it doesn't hurt.but I'm still scared of what he'll have to do to me:o
So, I might not go back to work after lunch, depending on what happens;) Otherwise, no plans apart from go to work.
So - time for my little list. Boring old stuff every day I know!

- HAVE A NSD! This is a MUST, left my purse at home so I don't have any money to buy anything at work. The only thing I might need when I get home is milk, but might see if I can persuade OH to get it on his way home, although he is cycling so not so easy!

Morning All. Hope you all have your feet glued to the ground today, it's going to be blustery:eek:
Been lurking rather than posting as just don't seem to be enough hours in the day. I'm working from home today and just having half an hour 'me time' before I start (well in honesty I have done an hours work already - just hjaving a break and I worked 2 hours last night and as we don't get overtime, I think I can justify this :rotfl:)My list for today:
Washing on, dry on airer inside (so as not to end up down the street;)
Meal from stores, need to get pork out of freezer
meal plan for next week
sort on line shopping for Thursday night, use MOC
update spreadsheet - day before payday - not good at all  must try harder next month
try and order some early xmas pressies (using £co and money saved of course)
Be positive - was on a real downer at work yesterday, too many idiots, getting paid to not do their jobs and me mopping up after them. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who cares
To top it off, some one I had parked next to in the work car park sent me an e-mail asking me to give her more space  !!!!!! she has a tiny sports car and is about 4 foot tall, I was within the line. That's when I thought I give up  and she must be really bad at parking
Oh well today is another day and no car park politics as I'm at home.... well unless I start a fight with OH about who parks on which bit of the drive :rotfl:
Sorry for moaning... Thanks for listening....
Have a great day everyone

Good morning everyone, thanks for starting this pixiechick.
I have been a bit quiet this past week as work has been manic and posting has taken a bit of a backseat. However, I've still be keeping up with my daily tasks.
Today I shall do the following:
Update banking spreadsheet
List two things on ebay
Food plan for the week.
Post ebay sales
Think that's all I'll manage as I'm at hosiptal this afternoon.
Hope everyone has a great day.October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
Morning everyone
Thanks Pixie for starting the thread
Jonno, hope you have a better day today
Working away again today, so will make full use of meals on expenses, and the hotel facilities, tea, coffee and toiletries etc.
New personal bank account has been set up, so I've arranged my pay go into that account rather than the joint account. Dont like having to do it, but its a must to stop my ex from fleecing any more money from me.
Have a great day everyoneDebt free since December 2015. It can be done0
