Boot or Superdrug Security Tag ?

I was bought some perfurm for my birthday, but it's isn't one I like. I'd like to change it but don't want to offend the person who bought it for me by asking for ther receipt. There is a square security label on the perfume - does anyone know from which shop this could have been purchased. I thought Boots had an oblong plastic tag, so wondered if it might be Superdrug or perhaps somewhere else.

You wont be able to get a refund or return on a box of perume without a receipt- simply because no store will be able to verify where exactly sold it, a security tag like the one your describing could have come from many stores, even TKMaxx have them.

Your options would be to get the reciept: be honest with your friend (or you could end up with the same gift next year!) if they are a decent friend they will want you to be happy and take it fine, if they're offended maybe remind them they bought it for you to be happy.

Or sell on ebay or anywhere else you know of that would accept and sell on perfume but with fakes being so high at the moment it may not be so easy and you may only get a fraction of the value back.

Or give away to someone else as a Christmas gift if you know of anyone else who likes the perfume.
