Matching Jewelry - is it ok?

Hi,

So I have bought matching jewelry for my sister and my mum to wear, but now I am having doubts...

Is it weird to have Mum wearing a matching necklace? I think my sister (who is my only BM) wearing it is ok, but what do people think about Mum wearing it?

It's also quite an important necklace as it was given to me by my OH a few years ago, so he will hopefully like that I am wearing it, but may not like that I got another two copies of it! Kind of detracts from the specialness...

Not sure what to do? Any advice?

I think I am properly starting to stress about details now! 26 days to go...

  • It's your choice at the end of the day and no one can tell you any different. Personally I wouldn't have anyone matching, not even my bridesmaid's, for them I got them jewellery specially made for them to match each other.

  • Why not ask your mum & OH how they feel about it.

I have just asked my mum, but it's a surprise for the OH. He complains I never wear anything I give him, so thought he would like it!
  • As long as it matches both their outfits I think it would be fine. And I think that because all 3 of you will be wearing different outfits I dont even think it would be glaring obvious unless people are paying special attention to your jewellery.

If you happy with it, and it means something special to you then go for it.
