Surprised to see this open when I clicked on tonight. Our BR went through in September and was pretty painless. I've read hundreds of threads on this site and realised, for once, to trust my own judgement. I filled our forms in honestly and that was good enough. We didn't even see the judge. Thanks to this site we also didn't need to find another £1200 for a BR assist firm, I originally thought that was the way forward. Phew!
I do however have a question. I haven't worked since the end of march 2011. The OR has sent me a letter saying HMRC have said I have worked up until October 2011. How can this be? I informed HMRC I was out of work at the time. I think the OR thinks I have been working and trying to hide it. Really worried but.can't ring him till Monday. How can I prove I wasn't working? I.don't think that I got my P45, is it too late to request it?
Thanks.0
