Nobody needs chocolate; it's just a luxury.

    Have you ever had PMT??

Chocolate is a necessity! Either that or a charge sheet for murder :p

So you pocketed another customer's money, did you?
    That is theft.

Two useless comments, would rather the thread stayed 'on topic'

And just for the record, 1: I need chocolate and 2: I would have kept the quid also, would have went towards another 3 packs of bountys

, but money lying around is yours to keep.
No it isn't. Suggest you consult a solicitor if you think otherwise.

What were they supposed to do, go to CS and say i've found a pound i'll give u my name an address incase no one claims it :rotfl:
Yes. Or give it to the cashier to hand in or return to the customer who dropped it should they return to that checkout to enquire.
Anyway, you'd go to CS and claim a pound back if you were overcharged, wouldn't you.
That smiley looks rather stupid now, doesn't it.

    No it doesnt.
You obviously have nothing better to do than label someone a thief because they found a pound.

People come on here to post bargains, and discuss them, they dont come on here to have people accuse them of commiting a criminal offence .
  • i'm sorry but if you find a £1 then its keeps!! If it was £10 then i'd say hand it in as it could be that persons last £10 till payday etc but a £1 is keepsies sorry! if you had seen the pound fall out of someones hand and watched whilst they left then rushed to pick it up then you do have a point. Get a grippp
