HI all
I am looking for some ideas
We are having a sweetie table and my other half is really keen to have pictures of us growing up around it. there will be about 30-50 photos. Has anyone any ideas how we could display them not sure it is practical to put straight onto the walls and there will be too many frames!!!
Thanks

Grab yourself an easel and canvas, or a big clip frame and get creative...Mount photos on coloured card and they'll look smart enough, print a few hearts here and there...bish bash bosh.0

a couple of digital photo frames so they will scroll through the pics ( i know not MSE or anything)
could you print the pics onto stickers and put them on the sweetie jars?
have them intermingled with the sweets in little standsThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
You could have them printed on stickers and stick them on a piece of A3 mount card or have some printed normally and stick them on a mount board
Sorry not much help

I did similar at my wedding of my now hubby and I traveling together we met while as single travelers and hit it off and the rest is history as they say. Ahhhh sigh. Well back to my point I laminated pictures two to a laminating sheet hole punched the top and threaded satin ribons of many different colours and tied them to bambo canes and staked them in the ground of our garden wedding. If you want to do the same around a sweety table mabe hang the bambo cane horizonally high up and have the laminates at diffrent lengths hang the pitures. this for us was a really cheap way to display lots of different pictures.
hope this helps0 -
If you know somebody that can use photoshop they could do a montage of you both and professionally blend all the photos into the background and have it printed poster size.[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]

Ladies thank you
I love all these ideas I think I may go with them on sticks and place them in the jars if that makes sense and then see if I can hire an easel for a big collage in the back ground maybe.
I love this forum so helpful and creative!0 -
We are doing this. Table is up against a wall, hanging "string" across wall (like you do for xmas cards) and using those little pegs u get (ive seen them in paperchase recently but that was after id had the idea so mustve seen them cheaper elsewhere) to peg the photos on...like bunting i guess, you could also use a hole punch to put two holes in the top of each pic and thread the string in and out of it so the photos lie flat0

Oooh I like the idea of using the digital photo frame - might steal that for my wedding  I already have one so it wouldn't cost anything - might just need to make a fake frame for it though as not sure sleek black would fit with the shabby chic theme!!!
VICSH - could you maybe stick some of the pictures to the front of the jars/vases of sweets?0
