  • call them tell them to stop calling you at work and tell them you will report them to fsa, if they carry on calling you.

also write to them and tell them the above. if they keep on calling refuse to confirm any of your details. say something like

" i refuse to divulge any of my security details over the phone, please contact me in writing" - hopefully they will eventually get the message.

are you on a dmp? if so advise them they will recieve a payment at the end of the month.

if not speak to cccs / payplan and set up a dmp, then send them a nominal payment of say £5

  • you can apply on line @ cccs.co.uk

i think it would be in your best interests to sort out a dmp asap.

I started mine in November and all my creditors have accepted it apart from one who have refused.

feel so much better for it as well

    good luck

My GF has had a call from them as she owes £154 and paid £100 but the £54 is outstanding. She told them she has made an online payment to MBNA/Virgin Mastercard and they said when - she said yesterday and they said ok. This is as payments apparantly take 5 days to reach them - luckily she will be paid on Monday so can pay then but gives a few days breathing space. They do seem the usual thick 'robot' type people.

I've had these people on, in 2 days I had a lette, a text and then calls. Told them that as it's a barclays thing, and there's a current case going through court against them they can wait til after that's settled. They wanted to know if I owned my home, did I work etc? Told them any contact before the case was settled would cost them £25 of my time. Seemed to do the trick, as haven't heard any more.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Current Pay Off Target : £1500
