It is probably someone else's ISA or salary. I wouldn't worry.

  • This has happened to mine - it's showing a different type of balance to last week, and does not include recent interest debits. Mine is interest only, so it's very easy to know that the first number is correct. The open date is also showing as a month out, so suspect that their system is just showing a couple of numbers wrongly today.

I'd expect them to change back, as the original number is right, and at the end of the day it's the redemption figure that matters the most, not any snapshot numbers

  • Same has happened to mine. My girlfriend works at the Halifax and they had a massive systems upgrade at the weekend to move over to the Lloyds platform so it will all be linked.

I have noticed a few other changes to the online banking system.

    Same with mine!

Just thinking though - I'm sure the difference is pretty much the same as the goodwill payment from earlier on in the year.

Wonder if it's got anything to do with that along with their system maintenance...

I wish these things would happen then stay this way rather than correcting their mistake! Wishful thinking, eh!

My mortgage type has changed to "Full repayment" as well. I took it on interest only but have rounded up over the last few years and they automatically changed it to "part interest, part repayment".

    Oh, the joys of mergers!
  • mine is the same at least 1000 less on my online acc im in process of porting my mortgage so thought it was something to do with that until i saw this thread has anybody had an explanatio yet
