Nursery open day ideas

Hi everyone

We have our nursery open day planned for next week, this is to try and raise the profile of the nursery rather than being a fundraising event, so far we have:

* Cake stall
* Ice cream factory stall
* Virgin vie rep
* face painting
* Bouncy castle
* story telling session
* art and craft table

Also I was thinking of handing out small goody bags,with couple of goodies for the kids and nursery info leaflets, What does everyone think?


Does any one have any cheap and easy to set up ideas cos Im starting to panic now, as ive been so busy lately, I feel so disorganised.

make your own playdough
make & take craft activities
something that highlights your outdoor area - treasure hunt or obstacle course maybe
plant some seeds/bulbs (christmas flowering maybe)
