The first thing that I would do is to ditch your mobile phone contract and NTL.
I ditched my mobile on contract @ £30 per month and went on to pay and go - which has cost me £10 in TWO months!
It would be better if you listed your outgoings individually - it is difficult to find savings unless you do.
You have made the first step towards being debt-free. Well done!0 -
Hi there Horse
If you can put down all your outgoings from day to day - food, petrol, bus fare etc etc etc, then we will be able to have a look for you.
Can you swap from NTL to Freeview?
I echo the mobile phone idea - I'm ditching my contract and going PAYG this weekend. I will go from paying £20 a month for something I never use, to hopefully having £10 credit on for months on end!0 -
How much is your food? petrol? car costs? going out? internet? insurances?what does "other bills" include?
WHat are the minimum payments for the cards and what are the APR's
If you can supply us with some of these and a SOA in a bit more detail (basilcally from your mortgage to a chocolate bar!) we can help you more x😁0 -

internet included on the ntl, dont have a car
min payments on cards she isnt paying for are 225 a month in total (not paid them for two month)
going out and food etc is literally dependant on if i have anything left0 -
Hi there horse, well done on facing things, first we need to see ALL your outgoings, then someone may be able to save you some money

This worries me,you say OH is paying these bills off at minimum payments, but by making minimum payments it will probably never be paid off.Does your OH know about the other debts? I really think you need them on board to help get things sorted.
Good luck
