About 18mts ago we switched our electricity supplier to Scottish Power. We chose the green option which would both save us money and at least help us think we were doing a bit more to help the environment.
Last week went on line to look at their web site and got a message saying I could save a further £16+ by operating a paperless account. This sounded to help a liitle bit more so I tried to sign up. Found myself unable to sign up so rang their customer services only to be told that paperless was not available on the green tariff - only on the non-green bits.
Is it me or are Scottish Power a little bit confused?

That's weird, I could've sworn I was on the green tariff, and I operate a paperless account, admittedly it was set up some time ago
DOH I'll have to go and check all that now!!!

this has got me as well, we got a bill at the weekend having switched from the online tarrif to green, you can still enter you meter readings but it's not quite as straightforward, seems completely bonkers.
I'm going to mail them and ask them to reconsider the policy.0 -
