Rotisserie Chicken

We went to a picnic yesterday where somebody had brought a rotisserie chicken which was delicious! Does anyone know what the spice rub is that is put on rotisserie chickens to make them so tasty? I really fancy having a go with the chicken that is for dinner tonight!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I've found this recipe gives a pretty fair imitation of rotisserie chicken without the rotisserie. The site's a bit slow at the moment so, if it doesn't work, the coating is a mixture of brown sugar and paprika.
Back after a very long break!

I used to work for a well known corner shop group which did rotissery chicken. they did a rub which was basically brown sugar, cinnamon and allspice with a little salt and black pepper. This must have been then ground up as the stuff was powdery. I cannot give you quantities as the label just listed ingredients. Other stores may have different rubs with different ingredients. try experimenting hun, use a pestle and mortar or a spice grinder and rub the dry rub in well to DRY meat! if the meat is wet it wont take the rub and you will waste your time and money!
