Sainbury's Southend, 10p Cake Matzo Meal & 10p Potato Flour

In Sainsbury's Southend, on the London Road, top of the High St there are packs of Rakusen's Cake Matzo Meal (375g) and Rakusen's Farina Potato Flour (500g) for 10p each. They are in date to, respectively, Feb and March 2012. The usual price is £1.00-1.20. They are presumably reduced because the next Jewish holidays when these will be used will be after the end dates.
The ingredients in the Cake Matzo Meal are "wheat flour, water". The Potato Flour contains nothing apart from potato flour.
I bought a pack of each this w/e and have used some of the Cake Matzo Meal in a bread recipe. I used 100g of Cake Matzo Meal to 300g of bread flour, plus a generous sprinkling of sunflower seeds and linseeds. I make my bread in a bowl so I don't know how this would work for a machine. It has come out a bit like Irish Soda Bread, rather dense but very tasty. I'm eating a slice now, with feta cheese. Hope this helps my fellow Southenders, and maybe worth checking in the kosher section (next to the Polish section) for other people in other areas.
The usual use for these products is in Passover baking but the recipes are not moneysaving as the other ingredients are often lots of ground almonds and eggs, etc.
