Well, first of all, does your new employer have any pension scheme you can join and if so, does your new employer contribute to it?
Cheers

About 50 million of them have been set up (probably more now).what the best private pension to use?
If you employer offers one that they pay into then that is the best option (free money!). If they dont then it then falls back to personal pensions and stakeholder pensions. Your contribution sees you just eligible for personal pensions but which is best after that will depend on how you want to invest and what features you want.
You need to accept you are not going to get the best personal pension. Your contribution is too low and you have no existing fund value. There is no one-size-fits-all best pension. The best one is the best one for your circumstances. That said, in the early years, it really doesnt make a significant difference which pension you use as long as you review it again in around 5-10 years time and be prepared to move it then (as your value and contribution will be higher and you will fall under the target market of those that want higher values but didnt want small values)I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
