I'm sorry if you don't think I've earnt a link to a free coupon... I suppose your first day on the forum you found a groundbreaking offer and only then asked for information once you had made a "contribution"?

Everyone has to make a first post. Sometimes that's asking for a little help with something new.

As us "newbs" get used to things, we stand a better chance of spotting something, and being able to "contribute" if only showing another newb something that might be helpful (not necesarily earned).

Or perhaps you would be happier if I made a few unnecessary posts serving no purpose than to up my post count and appear to have contributed?

It would perhaps have been better to ask, where you might be able to find a link to the coupon on the mse forums, and then you would have been pointed in the direction of the "discount and vouchers thread."
If you spend a bit of time reading through some of the threads you will be able to find lots of coupons and bargains.:)

  • I cook this recipe, yummy!! (Having trouble with the 3 to a page vouchers though, if someone would be so kind as to PM me an original then I'd be very grateful :))

    Chicken Bake

    Ingredients

1 cooked chicken (ready cooked if easier)
    Cooked potatoes (old)
1 tin condensed (295g) – mushroom or chicken soup
Boiled frozen peas or frozen carrots or whatever veg
    Cheese

    What to do

    Boil potatoes and peas
Whilst pots boiling, break up chicken into bite size pieces and place in bottom of pyrex dish (oven proof glass)
Drain peas – put layer of peas on top of chicken
Evenly spread soup on top of peas. Swish can out with TINY drop of water – add to soup layer.
Slice potatoes and put on top – use mashed if you want
Add grated cheese to top. Cook on 180degrees until hot through and cheese nicely browned.

  • Popped in to sains and went to self checkout, with 2 soups and 2 coupons, 1st coupon went through fine, 2nd one said declined! the sa tried it for me and it still declined, but said he could not cancel the 2nd one, so i would have to go to cs, went there and this lovely lady, took my soups out, i gave her the pending coupon, she read all of it and said oh i see1 its 1 per customer, so i though damn, but then she said, what i will do is refund you your money, then put the coupon and the 2nd soup for you!

she was lovely, in future i will do one at a time, its strange, because i have been using 2 at sains each time, but havent done it since last week and the soup has gone up to 79p so you only get paid 3p, per can, it was good while it lasted.

Sorry to sound thick but when you use the soup in a recipe like this do you add the tin of water or just use it straight from the can?

I just use the soup straight (maybe I'm a bit thick, but I wasn't aware of adding a tin of water... I just add the small amount the recipe suggests!)

The soup is condensed (concentrated). So when you want to have just soup you pour it in a pan and add a can full of water and mix together. I've always made it this way, don't they put instructions on the can these days (I've not looked)??

    It's only a game

They might do, but I've never eaten it as just soup, only put it in other recipes (where I assume/hope they'd mention if any water was needed?)
