It says a lot about you that a quarter of your internet posts (presuming you have only ever posted 100 times, and you have 23 here) was being butthurt over falling for a basic, basic scam
Whose the loser now? Oh I forgot you won't reply - you've flounced off on a promise of some magic beans....0 -

Admin Please do 'NOT' delete this thread. It helped me to realise that PRIMUS UK LTD are a scam company and saved me money in petrol, parking etc etc for a company who is preying on the 18 -24 and 48 year old and upwards job seekers.
The other company to watch out for as it is a 'TOTAL SCAM' is:**
They are a company who will tell you your here for an interview for Admin, customer services you name it but not the real answer "DOOR TO DOOR SELLING until 10 o clock at night pitch black in a bad area and then you will not be paid.

What odds do you think you would get on funkyfresh3000 and the above poster being from the same IP address?0 -
I have recently had contact with Primus UK currently recruiting in Leeds. I went to the 20 minute interview and was called back for an observation day, there were things that didn't feel quite right but I felt I was being too critical and decided to give it a go. The urning point point was in the middle of a carefully picked estate in Leeds (bugalows where mostly pensioners live). I realised that we would be walking around the estate harassing householders to sign up to the Red Cross. By the time we had a break I had decided to go home partly because I had been walking around in the freezing cold for 2 hours begging door to door and being spoken to by a mentor as if I were a child. As I made my way home I was polite but told Sam that I don't do door to door. She attempted to persuade me but by thetime I had thawed out at homeI knew the decision I had made was the correct one. Sadly this kind of 'opportunity' often appeals to desperate people with the promise of wealth. I was just looking for a Christmas job so I could easily walk away but for the dozens of people I saw at the Pearl Building on East Parade I say unless you really want a door to sales job purely based on commission, working 12 hour days and spoken to as if you have no sense, run like crazy. This company are deceiptful and underhand in the way they recruit0

I read the post, weird thing is I knew someone who got caught by the same thing - but this time selling kitchens. I kept on telling him what he should be doing (walking away), but he stuck at it for a few weeks, got a few sales, and then was essentially sacked. And he lost his commission too - some of these scams are dressed up so people who have no other "real choices" gamble on them, knowing it's an unfair deal. Exploiting people like that is wrong - and these people should be pointed out at every turn. Strange to see the thread is actually attracting people who are finding the info useful??0

I received a call today, saying that Primus Uk LTD were arranging interviews at such a short notice. Having received the phone call at 12 midday, she wanted me to meet at 4pm at the latest. I asked for another day, but she wouldn't budge. She said how she was looking for people who wanted full time hours etc.
I then thought to myself, that I had never applied for a job at this company. Having done research on it, I can't say I was too surprised at what I was reading. Safe to say I emailed her straight afterwards to say I was unable to turn up for interview0 -
Hi there,
I just registered so that i may thankyou funkyfresh3000.
I have had to refer to your posts on 3 separate occasions now via Google as they have attempted to get me in for "interview" 3 times.
I applied once, everything looked ok on the add, (Call Centre role) even after reading over it after reading your post. However it was when they called that i became suspicious, especially on the line our manager has read your CV ......really??? did he really???? lol if you have had the same phone call you will know what im saying.
So i googled and found your post/s.....needless to say i never attended the "interview".
I have since been called twice more. They used different company names each time but bells began to ring midway through each conversation when they said very similar things, which lead me to google and discover they either reside at the same address or are linked in some way. (Primus, Orrick and United leeds endeavours)
Im here today because they called again.
Anyways thankyou for your post as it has been most helpful to me on several occasions, which helpful i believe is your intention. (your post does sound possibly a bit disgruntled ex employee but not to people that have actually had contact with these people and thats all that matters)
Thankyou very much for your help and i hope your post continues to serve its purpose.0 -
Oh dear, so many sceptical and lazy people. Alright then, let's get a few things straight.
I work for Primus. I've worked there for two weeks. I'm ambitious and driven by goals. I actually thought this was too good to be true myself but I went ahead and gave it a chance.
It IS a pyramid scheme but in NO way is it a scam.
I haven't seen the point of view from one person who stuck this out on this thread so I'm quite glad that none of you actually went past the third interview so that the people who actually want to make a decent living can progress.
Yes, it's door to door. For the first 2 stages. It's a 4 stage programme to becoming a Manager. You start off learning the basic door to door skills and then you get promoted to team leader. You learn to be a team leader then you get promoted to assistant manager. You learn to be an assistant manager and then get promoted to directing manager being able to set up an office wherever the hell you want. There's people above me who I've seen progress, I've already BEEN on a roadtrip to the office in Maidstone, this company is a COMPLETE life hack in my opinion.
The way pay works is commission, that is true. The average applications you fill out everyday is 4. 1 app = £20 paid from the charity you represent. So you earn £80 a day. £80 x 6 = £480. Get promoted to leader, you earn £14.50 of every app your team makes. So lets say you have a team of 5 who all get 4 apps each. £14.50 x 5 = £72.50 x 5 = 362.50. Add that on top of your own wage and you've got £480 + £362.50 = £842.50.
I'm currently living at my managers and having all my travel expenses paid for me simply because I mentioned that I couldn't afford them. Sure, it's a pyramid scheme, they actually DO TELL YOU on your observation interview that it IS a pyramid scheme but, d'ya know what? I don't care. You get promoted fast in this company, it's performance based. So feel free to continue to be sceptical simply because it's a pyramid scheme. All I suggest it that you give this company a chance. By 1 week, you'll be hooked.
That is all. PEACE!!0 -

Can't be doing that well if you're having to kip at your managers and he's paying your fuel? Mind you, he knows he needs dedicated people like you under him to keep him on top.0
