The deal is for very travel in a very limited timescale 'The Free flight will be for travel in the period 16 January to 8 February 2007 only'

The following statement is gives them a strong get out clause: 'Ryanair cannot guarantee that a seat will be available on an individual flight even if the flight route/date is included in the promotion.'

Argh, typical, already got a short trip to Glasgow planned, and with other engagements (oo dont i sound posh when i say it like that :rotfl:) on another weekend which i have an extra day off for, I can't really justify it with work... least not prior to the 8th feb!

Nevermind tho, great deal, hope lots of ppl get their breaks Top class OP!

You're allowed once piece of hand luggage that must meet latest guidelines - Ryanair are very strict on size / weight.
If you want to check luggage into the aircraft hold, then you must pay per bag.

Just be aware that when Ryanair say "Barcelona", they actually fly into Girona - some 60 miles up the A7.
If you're driving, the A7 is a toll road. Not sure how much it is from Girona to Barcelona as we always come off half way for the Circuit De Cataluna
However, you're only looking at a few euro.

So my kids mini suitcases are ok? they are within those dimensions.

Off topic a little, but I cant find a definitive answer to this, can I book a seat for my 9 month old? she would be classed as an infant, which carries a £7 charge each way and no baggage allowance, compared to 1p each way and 10kg hand luggage if I book her as a child.

Can you take food on flights? eg sandwiches and a drink?!

Sorry for the stupid questions, very new to this!

Can you change your mind and pay for a suitcase at the airport?

Regarding Girona it's not much hassle getting to Barcelona or you could stay in Girona and take the train to Barcelona for days out.
