  • Well done everyone on your bargain hunting!! :j

I checked out Tesco St@alybr1dg3 the other day, they had loads of things you've all mentioned but SEL on everything was full price apart from the bed rails and no self scanners! And couldn't use the self checkouts to price check as its one of those ones you go through the rails to get to iykwim! Can't get back out again. Do you just ask any member of staff for the price? I asked a lady if she could tell me the price and she just said the price was on the shelf! Didn't want to say "well actually I've heard on MSE it's usually much cheaper" so I just played the idiot and said thanks.

Any ideas for getting prices? :p

They had quite a few of the O'Baby pushchairs left in the Lichfield Store at £12.00. did my good deed of the day too, when i saw a young couple looking at the cheaper Tescos own pushchair and counting out their money.....i directed them to this one and they were over the moon...heard them say that they would be able to buy some milk too now!..... was so pleased. Thankyou to the OP who spotted these, they have really helped some people out!

Thanks I managed to get one this morning from Lichfield. It was the last one on the shelf didn't see any more. The box was open on the one I got but I'm sure it's all there!

to the person looking in watford, if you fancy driving a bit south, they have them in hayes & weybridge areas:j
popped in last night in the hope of getting some bargains on the way home from london, in addlestone in particular toywise i got a disney princess aquadraw for £7.47, £6 barbie tawny set, a night time timmy for £1.50, a £12 razor rip scooter and this really helpful tesco chap was giving me the low priced goodies after he saw what i was price checking... oh, he handed me a £1 barbie tea set which i totally dont need but bought for the preschool xmas raffle, and there's also some zhu zhu pet stuff he showed me but i didnt want to get for about £1.50 each on the shelf opposite the price scanner, oh and ben ten ultimate alien maker was a tenner instead of £40 but i restrained myself as my son is going to be spoilt rotten with all his christmas stuff already... oh and load of summer stuff, a huge set with basketball, tennis, and base and nets for about £3
i also found ( on the top shelf off display) a ITNG readybed... took it to the till and it was, wait for it ....... £2 !!!
and they had Waybuloo ones for £6

This was Addlestone. Then someone drove into my car which was a bit annoying...

oh and in hayes they've got LOADS of those 10p playdoh sets!

back on the baby stuff topic...
both stores had the buggies, several of each
and i think i saw some of the double be guard thingies mentioed here, but didn't check the price of them so no idea if a bargain but worth a try...
