Got a job!

Start monday. Happy with salary and staff and bosses seem cool. Thanks for all the advice I got on MSE.

Anyone who is still looking, you just gotta keep jobseeking and applying. Have to agree with someone who said your CV has to look good. A well presented one really does make a difference.

  • Well done and Congratulations!

Another piece of advice: A senior colleague when I worked in Town Planning told me that if someone got interviews, they would eventually get a job.

Quite true - my son got a job, I got a promotion.

    So keep trying!

I am looking for another job as not having a good experience with mine at the moment:( I have been feeling a bit frustrated as the line I am looking at need me to work weekends and having limited childcare so it is proving difficult:( I am hoping that if I hang in there something will come up soon as I am not enjoying my job any longer due to management issues. Thanks for the wee positive note:)

How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on... when in your heart, you begin to understand. There is no going back. There are some things that time cannot mend... some hurts that go too deep. That have taken hold.
