A lot of you have been talking about putting together hampers for friends and family which sounds like a great idea! I want to do the same, but can I ask where you find reasonable baskets or what you use instead?

I bought one last year from THE online auction site for about £5... (excl delivery as I collected it)Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

I have a sweet shop and make sweet hampers up, we get our baskets from a local flower wholesaler and a fabric wholesaler. They are open to the general public and save us a fortune! Cheapest place we have found yet. Hope this helps.Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

You could also use shoe boxes covered in Christmas / pretty paper for small `hampers` or boot boxes for larger ones.
I used a large crisp box from local shop last year and filled it with a selection of goodies, both bought and home made and it was as good as some of the ready made hampers available, maybe even better as it was tailored to the tastes of the recipients and didn`t have any of the things which get left at the back of the cupboard because no-one likes them.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.
