I ordered my credit report so that I could assess whether or not it is good.

I noticed that on 02/06/2011, a credit search was made under my old address, which I lived in approx 2 yrs ago. It was also under ''Mr Donna XXXX'' rather than Mrs, which is odd. It was recorded by Net ID Me (ID)

what is this? and why at my old address?

Well tapping "Net ID Me" into Google comes up with https://www.netidme.com/ - where apparently you can get your "own secure digital ID token" and thus prove your "identity anywhere online". I'd presume that you've not used this service - on the basis that had you done so in June of this year you'd have remembered a) where you actually lived, and b) what sex you were. I might therefore be inclined to contact Net ID Me, notifying them that you are the real Mrs Donna XXXX and ask them why they ran the search. I'd guess that the most likely explanation is that someone, somewhere is trying to establish for themselves the identity of Mr Donna XXXX.
