ok so dumbo here read the invoice wrong and had to eat humble pie with the manager:p
the overcharge on the substituted special K took my bill to over £50 so i did get the ecoupon discount!!!!
however they shouldn't have charged me for the substitution so i get a £15 refund on top of that, effectively i just got a £30 shop for £15!!!:j:beer::rotfl:
edit-just noticed quidco tracked at original spend as well £5!! so £10 for £30 shop, i do love Tesco!!
not sure it was worth the hassle and the manager slipped in little slap on my wrists for "the bulk buy" on the special K's at the end of the call, cheeky mare, we get through 5 packs a week anyway, she doesn't know what bulk buying is.......should have a look in any MSE'ers garage and she'll know what bulk buying means lol!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Debt-free and Proud!
Perhaps free trial box of All Bran cereal still there.
The Frootz were get a box of 5 blackcurrent for 43p and then it was 3 for a pound too - but think that is fnishing tomorrow.

so you got more free food from Mr T then :rotfl:
  • none in newton abbot :(
    Overdraft £1500 / £790
    Credit Card £200 / £0 :j
  • In T's pitsea they are priced at 44p so not suprisingly none on the shelf. However at basildon mayflower tonight they were still priced at 1.78 so plenty on the shelf even after i'd helped myself to a few boxes. Did check at the price checker and they did scan at 44p. Is it me or are the price checkers really loud?! When i scanned the barcode it was followed by BEEEEEEEP for all to hear!! Thanks again op great find.

took back my out of date go ahead bars and was offered dtd, didn't expect that as it is a notorious trout spot.
As I was leaving I heard a till assistant saying," no we never accept other stores coupons, this is for Asda" and the poor shopper was saying "but I've used them before".........back to normal again.

You know, even though it would be nothing to do with me, I would have butted in .... I am just sick of Mr T at the moment, but that is another story ... I would have suggested she email philip clarke and explain just how infuritating and embarrassing it is to have to argue Tesco policy ... there is a serious lack of training on company policy, all Tesco stores should comply with Tesco policy as directed from 'on high', not just at the store's whim ...

Hi, what is the bulk buy rule, last time I bought loads of something I asked if there was a limit of 6 (I think that is what it used to be) and was told that Tesco had done away with that rule ... is this official policy do you know, or another store whim when it suits? TIA
