Loan and moving house

I am moving house in a week or so.
I have recently had my car written off and may decide to take a loan to add to the insurance cheque to buy a newer vehicle.
Will my bank have an issue loaning me the money if I have very recently moved? I have been with them for 15 years. My credit history is good but will the electoral roll cause an issue?

i think you might have to get on the ER first, unless your bank are ok and offer you a good rate, which they probably wont if its only for a couple of thousand or so0

Why don't you take out the loan BEFORE you move?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

Always get the cards, credit and loans before you move as time at address is very important."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

Was hoping to delay the decision a little as in the next two weeks I'll be moving, getting married, then going on the honeymoon. Not sure what car or even how much I'll spend as I've have no time to think about it with everything else going on and only just got the insurance cheque this week. I thought time at current address wasn't so important if you have history with your lender. I have been in my current address for ten years so I'm not a frequent mover!0
