Longest fixed rate available ?

Hi all,
As above really.
In general, what is the longest fix rate term available ? 5yrs ? or possibly longer ? I know you can get lifetime trackers but assume you can't get lifetime fixeds ?
We are currently on BoE tracker, 19 years left, o/s balance of £115k on house worth at least £250k (ie approx 40% LTV).
Does the availability of term lengths depend on the LTV ?
TIA for any help.
Regards,
Adam Brunt

I am sure I have seen a 25 year fixed somewhere online but the rate was silly!
They certainly existed at the height of the boom: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/halifax-offers-25year-fixed-mortgage-460113.htmlThinking critically since 1996....0 -

With silly tie-in rates too, if I recall.0 -
YBS and chelsea do 10 year fixes at about 4%0

Yes, the Yorkshire Building Society do one here: http://www.ybs.co.uk/mortgages/current_products/index.html?customerType=&mortgageType=fixed#
and Chelsea BS do one here: http://www.thechelsea.co.uk/mortgages/
(YBS and Chelsea have merged and are basically the same bank anyway)0 -
Skipton- 5.85% up to a max of 85% LTV.
