Gifted Mortgage Letter

Hi,
My parents have decided to give me my gifted deposit for a house I am purchasing.
I have to take them the gifted deposit letter this weekend and just have one question.
The bank account the money is coming from is a joint account, but my parents are giving me a cheque, which is only in my Dads name... so does the gifted deposit letter need to be signed by both or just my Dad?
It seems a bit trivial but I just want to make sure its correct as they dont live local to me and they live about a hour and half away and I dont fancy driving up again.

Hi,
My mum and dad gifted half my deposit for me and put it in my boyfriend's account where his half was, it came from a joint account and just my mum signed it and the bank accepted it no problem.
It might have been an idea to check with the bank before hand, instead of having a wasted journey, hope it goes ok!0 -
Get 2 letters signed, one Dad only and one Mum and Dad.
