Hi I wonder if anyone could help me I have a new brother machine and with the came a plastic grid,I have read the book and cant follow what it is for please help.:o

I have a brother machine and the grid is to place over the feeddogs to enable you to freely move the fabric when doing embroidery.
It is because you can not drop the feed dogs on the machine.
I hope this has helped
