Discount for repaying CCJ early
I currently have a ccj with a high street bank that is five years old and I still owe £4600 on. However I am in the position to be able to pay this off and am wondering if it is usual to ask the bank for a discount for early repayment. I am paying it off at £152.00 per month and have never missed a payment but still have a good length of time left before they get their money back. Has anyone have any experience of this who could offer advice on how much to offer them in full settlement? The bank is RBS if that makes any difference.

Yes, you certainly can make an offer. You might try offering them 1/3 in full and final settlement and accepting half if they offer that. You're close enough to paying it off that they may just not be interested in getting the money now but it's worth trying.
Don't go into how you have the money to pay it off or they may try seeking an increase in the regular payments instead.0
