This offer is mentioned online, but when I was in my local Extra - the items were all in a cabinet, but no mention of the offer.

Buy and five items plus a drink for £10 until 13th Sep. The wine is £10.99!!

Yep, seems to work - I added five of one item, plus the wine, and it knocked 16 quid off.

They only have the one wine - I don't use Asda so don't know whether they do this one or not.

But there were additional wines in the offer at my store, all items in a cabinet together.

Be a little cautious as they do inflate the prices of each item in the deal - I got the offer earlier in the week with a bottle of Pinot Grigio that showed as £7.99 on the receipt and I am sure it was a fiver last week. And we noticed that the dough balls in the offer were much more expensive than usual.

I got this yesterday but I struggled to find 5 items that didn't have the same day's use by date. The choice was pinot grigio which they gave a £9.99 price tag to, galloway crossing rose also £9.99 and there were 2 bottles at £10.99 with a cheapo-looking 'wines from france' label. No sign of soft drinks.

I would have bought 3 packets of ham at that price anyway, so I justified getting lemon tart and some mozarella and tomato stuff in oil as treats, on the basis that I'd have bought the wine in a 3 for a tenner deal anyhow so the 2 treats were almost free.

A lot of it looked like they had over inflated the price, and was short-dated anyhow. It depends what you're after and whether you would normally buy it and pay that much for it.
