Tesco -v- Tesco Metro

Hi, I know Tesco Express is higher priced on most things (our local petrol station has an Express). But I wondered if anyone can tell me how much more expensive a Tesco Metro is to a Tesco Supermarket?

The Metro is just a few minutes from work whereas the big Tesco is about 20 minute drive away and I'm not sure it would be worth the extra petrol.

Anyone help at all on this?

Thanks.

We have a Metro near us and it charges exactly the same prices as the larger Tesco Extra stores in the City. I don't know if this is a UK wide policy.

I once went in to an Express and the prices are definitely a rip off.
