Hi, I was thinking of either hiring one of them carpert cleaners from Homebase or getting a carpet cleaning company to come and clean maybe 3 small carpets (bedrooms upstairs in a semi detached house). Does anyone know how much this would be about? and if it would be better to go with a company or the hired machines?

Alternative worth considering is to buy a cleaner. VAX do one for about £100. I have one and it does the job OK.0

You can hire a Rug Doctor from B&Q. Costs about £30 a day. I've used it once or twice in the house and in the car. Really good job. You could do 3 small carpets in a few hours. Honestly they'll look like new.0 -
Thanks. Yeah I think the Rug Doctor is the same one that is in HomeBase. Think we'll prob just go with it. I think I heard a local cleaning company was about £35 per carpet.0
