Hi anyone know how much you're looking to spend on a decent diamond engagement ring from Tiffany & Co?? Or in other words are there quite a few you can get for around £1500 - £2000?? Or are all the prices incredibly higher than this? You only ever seem to here about the ones that cost about £20,000!!!

Any advice much appreciated! xx

You're paying for the name, not the diamond, so they are comparatively expensive. That's why the decent ones are £20k! Would cost about £5 for the same diamond and same weight of metal from somewhere like the Jewellery Quarter or Hatton Gardens.

Don't buy here - cheaper to fly to the States if you really must have it from Tiffany.

According to the Tiffany website a diamond engagement ring can cost from just over £690 to £691,000!

boyfriend and i went to new york last jan to get engaged, with the idea of getting it from tiffanys although we could of got something (even with the dollar being good) we would have had diamond dust, we looked round the diamond district in new york and went to a place called leo's ended up with a fabulous ring that we designed ourselves from there, anyway oh paid approx $2000 =£1000 got it valued here and worth over £4000 and no one else has one or means more than mine:beer:
