SD Card - Best place to buy (not online)

Hi everyone,
This is my first post so hopefully I'm doing this right.
I checked the other threads and also did a search on the entire forum and couldn't find information on this so I thought I would throw the question out to all.
I need to get a 1GB SD Card quite urgently so cannot get it online (even though I am positive in most cases it will be cheaper). Therefore, does anyone know of any good retail shops which sell a 1GB SD card (not bothered about the make/brand) at a good price?
Appreciate any help people can give.
Thanks!
Robbie

Most high street shops will charge over double the price of online stores.
Can you not buy one online and pay a bit extra for next day delivery?I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0 -
If you're in Manchester how about Micro Direct?2p off is still 2p off!0

If your up this way online companies like micro direct, scan and aria all have retail counters where you can walk in and buy stuff or order online and collect at the counter at online prices.
failing that your gonna get ripped off in places like dixons, jessops and game.
You could try tesco and asda, their prices didn't seem too bad when I checked but still nowhere near the prices at scan and co0 -
the cheapest i have seen in store is the kingston 1GB £29.97 was at tesco extra.http://direct.tesco.com/q/N.1999770/No.10/Nr.99.aspx0
