what is the law? i have heard lots about banks charges but nothing about companies who make up their oen charges, i sent for goods online and offered to pay for goods on ordering i was told to wait for the invoice, instead came a letter to say thst i was late. i sent the the cheque by return and £2 to cover the letter. my late payment charge is now accumulating ...£175! and they write to me twice a week. threathening me not with court but big men visiting me! what can be done?:
