Hi Guys, I really hope I'm not doing anything wrong by posting this on here, (mods, please let me know if I am!). I've been lurking around Money Saving Expert for months now, because me and my partner Mark are getting married after 7 years of being together and have realised that it's VERY expensive. So we went through all the ways of making money & saving money that we could think of and I've been through this site with a fine tooth comb picking out some juicy titbits to help us along our way (special thanks to everyone who contributed to the "Wedding Tips thread").
And now we've had an idea which should hopefully help us keep costs down for the wedding, My fiancé is a User Interface Designer (Super Dooper web designer to the rest of us) and has been in the industry for about 9 years working for some huge clients and we thought we could swap his skills (and mine, I'm a Clinical Hypnotherapist) for services for the wedding, e.g. we do a florists website and they provide our flowers for the wedding. It means that smaller local business who wouldn't necessarily be able to afford a website can get one for the price of the wholesale items they buy in and their time.
We're going to be going to the local papers with it this week (wish us luck) but thought I'd put it out to anyone on here that's in the South of England that might want to help us out too!(in exchange for something from us obviously!)
Either that or just have a look at our site and see what you think, (constructive please!)
