Please could anyone tell me how to download java onto my computer. I have several applications that say I need java, they then direct me to microsoft who then give a whole array of different programmes, frankly I do not have a clue what to download. I use window xp and I would be very grateful if someone could help me.

go to https://www.java.com and click on the 'Get It Now' button on the right hand side. Then choose 'offline installation' and run that file.Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0
