Asda Online substitutes, is it me?

When you shop online did it always say' accept substitutes ' unless you changed it? It now seems to be the other way round and if you want a substitute item you have to tick it at checkout? Wonder way it didn't get my digestive biscuits( Asdas own) and they didn't send another brand that was more expensive???
If this is the case then many people will fall into the trap!

When we ordered on Weds for delivery yesterday it was the same as normal for us, accept was ticked by default and we unticked the ones we didn't want to accept substitutes on.
Maybe it was just a bizarre picker decision, we ordered ASDA frozen peas one week accepting subs and got nothing, and I'm guessing they probably did have some frozen peas in stock!0
