  • So I hot £300 off my halifax which is better in my pocket than in theirs. Seems they do not negoriate. It is just against their policy as a bank. Best to try and get some interest refunded as a gesture of goodwill. Its the only option after numerous letters and phone calls. Was wondering if anyone had got a reduced settlement offer with LLoyds TSB? I currently have £2520 on my card. I missed a couple of payments 6 months ago so havent a perfect record with them. I heard rumours that they sometimes settle for 85%. Anyone know if this is true? or have had any experience of this?
