John Lewis budget double mattress

Slightly anxious about starting a mattress thread having just read the sticky on this forum.
Anyway just wondering if anyone has any reviews of the John Lewis Value Open mattress? £80
(I can't post a link but if you google it comes up straight away)
I'm looking for a reasonably priced mattress for the spare room in my flat. It'll be slept on by guests only for a few nights of the year so doesn't have to be amazing. Because it is cheap is the John Lewis mattress very soft/springy?

I've just seen this online and would be after the kingsize. I'm going to check my local store tomorrow to see if it's in stock and what it's like. Looks like a bargain though.0

have a look on amazon for happybeds. I bought a single from them for my daughters bed it cost less than £50 (ithink) and its amazing value for money + really good reviews. They do double mattresses too. Oh and when i went to leave feedback they had added a £40 tesco gift card to it.. bummer! well for me anyway!0
