Salary check

Can anyone suggest a website that compare salaries in different parts of the country. I have been told that I am underpaid in comparison with other companies (which I am aware of but I like my job) so would like some evidence to present to my boss when asking for a pay rise.

Looking at current job adverts I would suggest is a more reliable source and will give the range.
Also remember to look at the "total reward package" and not just the salary... for example one bank may give its cashiers less wages than the other but when you consider the lower paid one gives them interest free overdrafts and very low rate loans/ credit cards/ mortgages then it can more than make up for the cash shortfall (and I dont mean by getting a loan for it
