Mechanical weight measures - how to reset them?

Hi all
I've got a mechanical weight measure and it's always about 4lbs up. In other words, instead of being at 0 before you stand at it's at 4lbs and then adds 4lbs onto whatever weight you are. Eg I'm actually 12st 8 odds but come out as around 13.2 +. Can these machines be reset by any way?

Normally there is a knob or dial which you can adjust... it basically shifts the scale so zero is when nothing is in place. A basic scale may not have it I guess...Always overestimating...0
