Toothache :(

I have been to the dentist today for a check up, which frightens me to death, and mentioned that I have been having pain in my big tooth at the back, ie: cant put pressure on it to eat, sensitive to hot & cold etc etc, so he took an x-ray, but he said it was fine, he thinks imclenching my teeth at night whilst asleep - ok thats fine, BUT how on earth can you stop it when youre asleep???????:think:

You can buy a guard that you wear at night to stop tooth clenching/grinding.. ask your dentist or google tooth grinding..

You can buy them in Boots :)

However they are not cheap! My sister grinds her teeth and she actually bought a tooth whitening kit which has a similar guard in it and that worked for her, and it was cheaper than the official guard.

You need to speak to your dentist first. There are different types of appliances for grinding and wearing something that isn't custom made or designed for another use such as tooth whitening can very well be ineffective or make things much much worse.
