Hi All
Sorry not been on for a while. Been going through the early stages of divorce...not pretty..but getting there!
Anyhoo...as I'm now living with Grandparents rent-free, I'm seizing the chance to get my finances sorted. Already managed to pay off 2 debts in the 4 months I've been living here :j
Now I'm eager to do more...but my mind won't get itself to grips with interest rates etc lol
So...does anyone know of any websites / calculators where I can put in say the balance of a loan at the moment, put in the interest rate, and then each month when a payment has been made, I can enter that payment and it will tell me what the balance is (taking into account how much of the payment is interest and how much is towards the principle)?
I've tried the snowball thing on whatsthecost...but it doesn't seem to split the payments I've made into interest and principal...
Sorry if I seem very dense!

Don't know of any websites but it would be pretty simple to set up a spreadsheet - you can calculate the interest by doing (current balance)*0.169/12 (just an example if the APR was 16.9%)
Capital payment would be total payment less interest calculated above...0
